My Forum takeaways - Alexandra Goffey

Recently promoted to Senior Consultant within The Faculty, Alexandra Goffey shares her perceptions of this year’s Forum.

What are the things you heard at the CPO Forum that continue to resonate for you?
The importance of fostering a strong, positive culture, both across an organisation and within one’s own team. High performing talent are attracted to organisations and teams that strive towards – and deliver – success;  how can we make our procurement functions exemplars of team culture that rewards integrity, respect, perseverance and creativity?

Is there anything that you are doing differently as a result of something you heard at the CPO Forum?
I am taking Dr. Helena Popovic’s advice to keep my brain in optimum condition – those 12 minutes of exercise each day keep me sane and reduce my stress levels no end!

What aspects of the Forum did you enjoy most?
The interaction with the smartest minds in procurement from across Australia and around the world – such an inspiring group of professionals who are constantly striving to achieve more, deliver successes and make procurement the place to be in our top organisations.
