PIVOT: Don’t miss out on the premier procurement event for 2017.

Keith Bird, Managing Director, The Faculty

I’m delighted to invite you to attend the must-see event for our profession next year – Pivot: The 10th Annual Asia-Pacific CPO Forum, to be held in Sydney on the 17th to 18th May, 2017.

Together, the region’s biggest names in procurement will celebrate 10 consecutive years of disruptive ideas as we continue to accelerate commercial leadership at the highest level. The CPO Forum is a once-a-year opportunity for leading Chief Procurement Officers to engage with peers and like-minded business leaders in an intimate and interactive setting.

Personally, I’ve attended the CPO Forum both as a delegate and as a facilitator, and can attest to its value – not only for the leaders in the room, but for their teams in the office who will benefit from the cutting-edge ideas their CPOs implement after the event. The Forum is designed to enable the sharing of best practice strategies, develop innovative and responsive procurement approaches, and hear from a compelling speaker line-up of influential thinkers, eminent business leaders and commercially creative minds.

Why “Pivot”? Because in an era where flexibility and agility are seen as essential leadership attributes, the profession’s top practitioners must be able to pivot at a moment’s notice to gain commercial advantage from disruptive forces, including new technology. In essence, this means having the ability to rapidly and intelligently adjust short-term strategies to ensure you can achieve procurement’s long-term objectives.

A decade of CPO Forums is an extraordinary achievement, and the fact that some of our delegates have attended this premier event every single year is testament to its value. We’ve had an incredible line-up of speakers in that time, the best of whom have been invited back for 2017. As we continue to build the program into the New Year we’ll be releasing further details of the speaker line-up, but as of today, I’m excited to announce that we’ll be joined by Professor Michael Henke, Chair of Enterprise Logistics at Dortmund University and Industry 4.0 expert, and Sohail Inayatullah, Futurist and visiting Professor at the Graduate Institute of Futures Studies at Tamkang University, Taiwan.

Roundtable, CPO Forum Alumni and Super Early Bird tickets are now available, so please visit http://www.thefacultycpoforum.com.au/ to take advantage of the savings and lock this must-attend event in your 2017 calendar.

I’m looking forward to seeing you there.
