Renowned Procurement Capability Expert, Gordon Donovan, joins The Faculty

Managing Director of The Faculty Management Consultants, Andrew Cordner, is pleased to announce the appointment of Gordon Donovan to the role of Principal Consultant within The Faculty’s Training and Capability division.

“Gordon brings over 23 years of procurement knowledge and training expertise in both the UK and Australia as both a practitioner and consultant and is widely known and respected by the procurement community,” said Andrew.

Working alongside Principal Consultant and The Faculty’s resident capability expert, Robert Pease, Andrew believes the thought-leadership duo of Gordon and Robert will cement The Faculty’s reputation as Asia-Pacific’s premium procurement capability advisor.

Responsible for leading The Faculty’s Capability & Training team for the past six years, Robert Pease looks forward to the prospect of having Gordon on board: “I admire his philosophy and approach to  procurement capability development and think our partnership will bring a whole new dimension to our training and capability services” he said.

Offering a range of training and capability services from open programs, customised workshops, capability assessments and The Procurement Executive Program (developed in partnership with Melbourne Business School), The Faculty has established a reputation for sustainable learning programs that supplement robust technical training with a strong focus on commercial leadership.

In 2013 alone, The Faculty trained over 1000 procurement professionals and developed tailored capability initiatives for many of the region’s leading organisations, including:  Telstra, Santos, BP, APA, MMG and Origin.
