The X Factor

CPO of the Year Award 2012

CPO of the Year 2012 will be awarded to one Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) from the Australia/Asia-Pacific region, in recognition of significant leadership of the profession.

In order to determine what characteristics make for an outstanding CPO, The Faculty has engaged Karen Morley & Associates to conduct a detailed research project and report. Part of this research will involve surveying and interviewing CPOs and their managers, across the region.

Consideration for the Award is based on a CPO’s participation in the research.

If the CPO is shortlisted for the Award, information from the survey and interviews will be used to assist the independent judging panel to make their selection(s). The judging panel will comprise a mix of independent academic and business figures.

The CPO of the Year will be announced at the Gala Dinner of the 5th Annual Asia-Pacific CPO Forum on 16th May 2012 at the Hyatt Regency Coolum in Queensland. To learn more about the Forum, please click here.
